A famous Hollywood insider says we will see Batman in ‘The Penguin.’
Jeff Sneider confirmed on The Hot Mic podcast that Robert Pattinson will indeed appear in the spinoff as the Dark Knight. It’s not clear how much he will be in the show, so he might only appear in one episode.
‘The Penguin’ series stars Colin Farrell as Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobblepot, and it begins right after the end of 2022’s ‘The Batman.’ The show is set in Gotham City and follows Cobblepot’s rise in the criminal world after the death of his boss, Carmine Falcone. We’ll wait and see if Pattinson’s Batman will face off with Oz, as they crossed paths in the movie.

Farrell Thinks The Show Will Be ‘Very Dark’
‘The Penguin’ will explore Oz’s journey as he tries to take over Gotham’s underworld. Farrell says the show is very dark and makes bold choices:
“Oh…Tons of violence, abject darkness, and a man and a great struggle to try and claw his way to the top. You know, there’s a power grab in Gotham now… It’s dark, man. Lauren LeFranc with her room of writers wrote eight extraordinary episodes. I mean, just really, really bold stuff. I couldn’t believe that it got as dark as it gets. It would be a Hard R…”
Cristin Milioti will appear in the series as Sofia Falcone, Carmine Falcone’s daughter. She fights with Cobblepot for control. Michael Kelly plays a crime family underboss, and Rhenzy Feliz plays Victor Aguilar, a teenager who becomes Cobblepot’s driver and friend. The show finished filming in February after some delays.
Robert Pattinson is also confirmed to return as Batman in ‘The Batman Part II.’ The project is developed by Warner Bros. and is set to be released on October 2, 2026.
‘The Penguin’ series is set to premiere on Max in September 2024 and will have eight episodes.
