Iron Fist’s Finn Jones Asks Marvel To Do A ‘Heroes For Hire’ Show

Jones believes there’s still room to explore his character.

Iron Fist star Finn Jones is eager to team up with Mike Colter for a ‘Heroes for Hire’ series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

During an interview at Heroes Dutch Comic-Con in the Netherlands, Jones shared he’s quite enthusiastic about this potential project. He said that the entertainment industry is currently unpredictable, but he remains hopeful and open to reprising his role as Iron Fist:

“I have no expectations in this industry, especially right now. It’s really unprecedented – strikes, COVID. Things you think are going to happen don’t happen; things that shouldn’t happen do happen. So to be an actor in 2024 To have expectations in this industry is just impossible. Now, my intention – I would like to see the character continue; I would like to continue playing that character. I think there’s still a lot of room for growth and professionally I’m at a point where I would like to continue to grow with Iron Fist .”

The Marvel Netflix Universe of the 2010s helped set the stage for the Marvel Studios series on Disney+. Daredevil is continuing the story with ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ There are also rumors that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones might appear in ‘Born Again.’

Mike Colter Isn’t That Interested

Mike Colter, who played Luke Cage, has been less excited about returning to his role. He still said that he would consider it if a big project with a good script came his way:

“Only if it doesn’t affect my schedule in a way that I can’t do another season of ‘Evil.’ I mean, I would totally entertain a good script and idea that made sense.”

‘Heroes for Hire’ is a well-known partnership in Marvel Comics, where Luke Cage and Iron Fist offer their services to those in need. We saw Jones and Colter together on screen but never got a full ‘Heroes for Hire’ series. Jones believes that their chemistry could bring interesting stories to life in the MCU.

‘Iron Fist’ was considered the weakest of the bunch. For now, you can watch the show on Disney+.
