When Victoria Justice interviewed with Entertainment Tonight regarding the sitcom created by Dan Schneider back in March, of course, the fans started asking for a reboot of ‘Victorious.’
As known, the Nickelodeon series starring Justice, Daniella Monet, Leon Thomas III, Avan Jogia, Matt Bennett, Elizabeth Gillies, and well-known singer Ariana Grande, started airing on March 27, 2010, and ended on February 2, 2013. At that time, it was declared that the series would not be renewed for next season.
During her interview with the online magazine, Justice told the world that she does not really much about a ‘Victorious’ reboot and added:
“I was hearing things about a reboot, but no one had ever really talked to me specifically about it. So I don’t really know exactly what’s going on. But I mean, I love that cast, I love that show… but there’s nothing official right now.”
Justice, who said she would be happy to reprise her role as ‘Tori Vega‘ continued by saying that it is impossible to know what’s going to happen in the future and concluded her words as follows:
“I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up: There’s nothing in the works, but I don’t know. We all love each other, and it was such a fun time. So who knows?”
At that time, Elizabeth Gillies, portraying ‘Jade’ in the series, also talked about a potential ‘Victorious’ reboot during her appearance on the Zach Sang Show; she said:
“Well, it’s like one of those things where if they used the same kind of sets, and they got the same people to do it, then I’d like it. If it’s good, it’s good. That’s all I’m going to say. If it’s done poorly, then I’ll say, ‘I told you so,’ and if it’s done well then I’ll be like, ‘Wow, hats off!’”
Even though there is no official announcement regarding the reboot, we have a piece of good news for the fans of the series that received multiple Kids’ Choice Awards; in October 2021, ‘The Victorious Movie‘ is coming! The film based on the ‘Victorious’ final episode was produced by Dan Schneider.
