Isla Fisher Expresses Her Happiness After Her “Hubby” Received Australian Academy Award For Best Supporting Actor

Well-known actor and author Isla Fisher, who began her acting career on Australian television took to her verified Instagram account to celebrate her husband Sacha Baron Cohen‘s Australian Academy Award.

As fans might know, Cohen received the AACTAs International Award for Best Supporting Actor for his “compelling” performance of ‘Abbie Hoffman’ in ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7.’

Fisher, best known for starring in the fan-favorite American comedy film ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic,’ posted a photo of herself with Cohen after the virtual AACTA ceremony and stated that she is proud of her husband as an Aussie. To celebrate her husband’s first AACTA International Award win, Fisher wrote:

“So proud as an Aussie, that the Australian Academy gave my hubby the Best Supporting Actor in film award for The Trial of the Chicago 7 !! ❤️ @aacta”

Following Fisher’s post, well-known Hollywood stars jumped into the comments section to send their congratulatory messages to Cohen. Here are some of them:
