Brad and Fiona Dourif shared new details about ‘Chucky’s possible return for a fourth season.
‘Chucky’ hasn’t been officially picked up for another season, but the father-daughter duo suggests exciting changes are awaiting. Fiona Dourif spilled some beans about what fans may expect:
“There’s a pitch for season four that we’re hoping that we get to do. And it is… I swear I’m not just saying this. It is so good. It’s just my favorite idea that sees Chucky in a new role that. I just think it will be a blast. What’s very cool about Don Mancini’s brain and this franchise is that he reinvents each time. It’s gone through so many phases that it never gets boring. Yeah, it’s a blast to make.”
Fiona Wants A Revenge Arc For Nica
Fiona also talked about Nica Pierce’s future and said she wants her to get revenge this upcoming season:
“I wouldn’t mind some limbs, you know. I mean, the running joke is next season, I’m a head in a jar. I think I deserve to capture and torture Jennifer Tilly [who plays Valentine]. That’s what I’d like. B*tch has it coming.”
Brad Dourif also shared his thoughts and touched upon a possible crossover with M3GAN:
“I don’t know who M3GAN really is… It’ll be whatever Don decides it’ll be, you know, I mean, that’s, I leave that kind of thing up to Don because Don really is a horror fan. And, incidentally, Megan, in that, you know, it’s inspired by Chucky, which is, you know, a compliment to Don.”
Chucky comes across M3GAN on TV in the third season and isn’t pleased to see another doll stealing his spotlight.
