Jaimie Alexander marked a milestone by sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from the Disney Plus’ hit series ‘Loki.’
On June 30, the well-known actor took to her verified Instagram account both to announce that she is back as ‘Lady Sif‘ and celebrate her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after more than a decade.
Alexander, who first became the part of the ‘Loki’ & ‘Thor’ world when she portrayed the Asgardian warrior back in 2015, released her first look at the series starring Tom Hiddleston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Sasha Lane. Underneath the photo, in which she is seen in the warrior’s iconic outfit, the actor wrote:
“’Asgard is not a place. It’s a people…’ and one of them is a giant A-hole Loki”
What’s more, the star, who is rocking with ‘Sif’s haircut, stated in the comments section that she can not believe the costume still fits her despite 11 years.
As fans already know, the Marvel series premiered back on June 9, 2021, on Disney+; because Alexander did not reveal when she captured the photo, we do not know which season we will see her as ‘Lady Sif.’ However, it is expected that she will feature in the series in the second season which is in development now.
