Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway are set to reunite on small screen, having previously worked together in films like ‘Love & Other Drugs’ and ‘Brokeback Mountain.’
According to Deadline, they’ll play one of two couples involved in a series of disputes in the new season. Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny are in talks to portray the second couple.
Though the news hasn’t been officially confirmed, producers Netflix and A24 are planning to start production on the second season later this year, with Lee Sung Jin returning as showrunner.
The Show’s Been Quite Successful

“Oh man, Steven, Sonny, Jake, and the rest of the cast and amazing crew of ‘Beef,’ I wouldn’t be here without you. This is the best. It has been such a wonderful journey with you guys and I’m so proud that you guys are my friends, too.”
The show also won Best New Scripted Series at the same event, with Wong, Steven Yeun, and Lee Sung Jin accepting the award together.
