Industry insider Daniel Richtman recently reported on Patreon that the first official trailer for ‘Superman’ will be released on Thursday, December 19, 2024 (via MaxBlizz).
The trailer will premiere to the press and movie crew at a special event on December 17 in a Los Angeles theater before its public release, according to the scoop.
DC Studios is yet to confirm the news, but there’s a high chance it’s true as Richtman has a reputation for generally giving correct info on trailer dates.
‘Superman’ stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The rest of the cast includes Milly Alcock, Sara Sampaio, Skyler Gisondo, Edi Gathegi, María Gabriela de Faría, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Frank Grillo, and Anthony Carrigan.
The plot centers on the title hero’s efforts to balance his Kryptonian heritage with his life as Clark Kent. The film arrives in theaters on July 11, 2025.
James Gunn’s take on the superhero gets ready to leave his mark on the new DC Universe. Last week, the director confirmed Superman will take center stage in his and Peter Safran’s rebooted franchise, appearing at the beginning of almost every project like the MGM lion.
