Eric Marlon Bishop, who is known professionally as Jamie Foxx, is a famous name who is both a successful actor and a singer. In his latest project, he became the first Black protagonist in Pixar’s movie ‘Soul‘ and Foxx celebrated the movie’s huge success on his Instagram account.
The Academy Award-winning actor gave his voice to the character Joe Gardner who is a jazz musician and music teacher. The plot of the film is about his journey to afterlife while walking in the streets of New York and suddenly finding himself in a sewer which opens to a different world.
The actor, Jamie Foxx spoke about his character stating that one of the most important messages in the film was about optimism, supported the view that people should prefer to be optimists instead of wallowing in anger.
In the caption area of his post, the 53-year-old ‘Soul’ actor, shared his happiness with his fans that the message in the film reached many people getting 1.7 Billion streams.

Another feature about this film was the lead character was played by a black person first time in Disney Pixar movie history. In the rest of his caption, he thanked all the people who supported this inspirational movie and said:
