Jamie Foxx Says He Still Can’t Wrap His Mind Around Tragic Passing Of Kobe And Gianna Bryant

Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx updated his Instagram feed with a series of photos of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant on the anniversary of their death.

To honor the basketball legend and his Gigi, Foxx wrote a highly touching message alongside the photos; according to what he stated in his message, the actor still can’t get over the tragic passing of father & daughter.

Academy Award-winning artist Foxx wrote in the caption section that the things that happened on January 26 are not easy to forget about. In his own words:

“I know God doesn’t make mistakes… but this one leaves me numb still… after a year it’s still hard to wrap my mind around this… rest in power…”

Then the ‘Django Unchained‘ actor, who also lost her beloved sister, DeOndra Dixon back in October when she was at just 36, concluded his words by saying that Black Mamba and his daughter, who passed away in 2020 in a helicopter crash with other seven occupants, will always in hearts:

“You and your precious little will forever be remembered and cherished in our hearts and minds… “

As fans might remember, back in August, Foxx opened up about his “incredible cantankerous relationship” with Bryant during his appearance in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In the show, the Grammy Award-winning artist said that he motivated the basketball legend to get his 5th championship ring with his messages full of jokes & sarcasm.
