Jamie Foxx Speaks Of Netflix’s Upcoming Movie ‘Project Power’

The well-known actor, singer, TV host, and producer Jamie Foxx, who received the Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, appeared on the cover of Entailment Weekly and talked about the Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi action film.

As before announced, Foxx takes the lead role in ‘Project Power’ and represents an ex-soldier.

In the movie, a drug empowers humans with random superhuman abilities for just five minutes, and as a father, Jamie Foxx tries to rescue his daughter from sinister forces behind the drug. The film also stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Machine Gun Kelly, Rodrigo Santoro, Amy Landecker, and Allen Maldonado.

Regarding his comic book-style fantasy project, Foxx posted the cover of  the magazine, Entertainment Weekly and wrote as follows:

“New joint alert… 🎬 PROJECT POWER… @relsonmandela and his partner in artistic crime @hurricanejoost put together a dope project! If you could take a pill and possess any superpower WHAT WOULD YOUR POWER BE??!!… @netflix”

The actor, who is obviously excited about his new project, pointed out to the cover story and thanked the photographer, G L Askew II as well:

“Make sure you check out the article we touch on a lot of important issues as well… @glaskewii thank u a billion black man. For making me look like that muuuphuka”

Besides, the movie will be released on Netflix on August 14. As for its first trailer, it is available on YouTube now.
