Jamie Foxx’s ‘Project Power’ Becomes Most-Watched Title On Its First Week On Netflix

American actor and singer Jamie Foxx, who won a good number of awards throughout his acting career, including the Academy Award, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics’ Choice Movie Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, grabbed great attention with his latest Netflix movie, ‘Project Power.’

American superhero movie ‘Project Power,’ directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, became number 1 at Netflix’s trending at its debut weekend.

Jamie Foxx, starring in the movie alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dominique Fishback, Colson Baker, Rodrigo Santoro, Amy Landecker and Allen Maldonado took to Instagram to express his excitement regarding this achievement; Foxx posted a screenshot of news from LAD Bible on this issue, and captioned it as follows:

“PROJECT POWER is rolling strong! Number 1 in 100 countries. Big thanks to the fans! If u haven’t seen it. Check it out!!!”

Despite the positive reviews from audiences, professional movie critics called the movie as just “entertaining.” So, the Rotten Tomatoes’ critics published the following review:

“Although it wastes some of the potentials of its premise, ‘Project Power’ is a slick, fun action-thriller – and features a star-making turn from Dominique Fishback.”

The film was released on August 14, 2020.
