Actress Jamie Lee Curtis updated her Instagram account to mourn the death of veteran actor Christopher Plummer who passed away at the age of 91 and shared her memoir with the famous actor on the set of the movie ‘Knives Out‘ with her followers.
Canadian-born Oscar-winning actor Christopher Plummer was a dear actor, valued by everyone from seven to seventy with classic movies like ‘The Sound of Music‘ and ‘Beginners.’
After the death of Plummer, who passed away at his home in Connecticut on Friday morning, Hollywood stars shared their grief on social media.
The Knives Out star, 62, was one of those names, and Curtis, who had the opportunity to work on the set of this movie with Plummer, shared the portrait she made of the actor on her Instagram.
Jamie Lee Curtis paid an honoring tribute for the late Christopher Plummer and expressed her feelings as follows:
“I made this portrait of Christopher Plummer the first day of filming @knivesout As I played his eldest child I wanted to connect a moment with him and I sat in the little study that he had as a room to wait in and we talked.”
Moreover, the actress stated that although she had a very short opportunity to work with the famous actor, she felt very lucky to have this opportunity:
“I had very little work with him but we made a lovely connection. His work in that movie is full of life, love and longing. A beautiful portrayal. Honored to have been able to work with him. A warm Aloha, Christopher.”
