Jason Momoa, the actor who has been portraying ‘Arthur Curry / Aquaman‘ in the DC Extended Universe film series since 2016, delivered a piece of great updates regarding his upcoming film titled ‘Sweet Girl.’
Ahead of his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Momoa, best known for playing ‘Khal Drogo‘ in the HBO fantasy drama series ‘Game of Thrones,’ jumped into his verified Instagram account and told the world that the official trailer for the highly-expected film would be released.
On Instagram, the actor shared the official poster for the film and then added a message that reads:
“I’m dropping the Sweet Girl trailer on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight! Excited for you all to see this film that has been a passion of mine. It’s got action with a lot of heart and centered on family.”
Starring also Isabela Merced, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Raza Jaffrey, Adria Arjona, Justin Bartha, Lex Scott Davis, and Marisa Tomei, the film was produced by Momoa alongside Brian Andrew Mendoza and Brian Andrew Mendoza.
In the film, Momoa is portraying ‘Raymond “Ray” Cooper,’ while his co-star Isabela Merced playing ‘Rachel Cooper.’
Brian Andrew Mendoza-directed film is scheduled to be released on August 20, 2021. See below to view the official trailer.
