Jason Momoa On His Habit Of Stealing Things From Movie Sets

The Aquaman actor says he likes rewarding himself for his efforts by taking stuff from sets.

Jason Momoa recently appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and shared insights about his habit of keeping props from the movie sets he’s worked on. During the chat, Kimmel pointed out the actor’s previous words about ‘liking to steal,’ to which he shared:

“Not what I said. I feel like if I’ve worked and I’ve bled, and blood, sweat, and tears went into being in this movie, I could maybe take one of these things home without asking.”

Momoa also confirmed taking an item from the ‘Aquaman’ set after playing the DC hero five times through the years:

“I mean, they used a lot of mine, too. Like, these jeans were in Aquaman. They were mine. I let them use them. So, they give me the trident. But I should have the trident, right? I don’t actually have it yet. I just got a text from my producer like, it’ll be delivered tomorrow.”

The Trident Wasn’t His First Loot

The actor’s collection isn’t limited to ‘Aquaman,’ though. He also mentioned taking props after his role in ‘The Justice League’ (2017), where he acted alongside Ezra Miller, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot. In a press conference, Momoa shared:

“We [Miller and I] took these little bullets with this little red cap on top of it. Bat bullets! Yeah, I gave it to my son.”

In addition to that, the Khal Drogo actor revealed that he was an infamous ‘natural-born thief’ on the ‘Game Of Thrones’ set. Talking to Esquire, he recalled:

“They literally put out messages, the producers: ‘Don’t let Momoa take this.’ I like to take the body parts…that I’ve [been] ripping out of people…I came up with it, so it should be mine.”
