Academy Award-winning actor and musician Jeff Bridges revealed on October 19 that he has been diagnosed with lymphoma, through his Twitter account, and bewildered the fans & followers.
The ‘Big Lebowski‘ star Jeff Bridges wrote:
“As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light. I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma.”
Even though lymphoma – a type of blood cancer of the lymphatic system – is a serious disease, the ‘Crazy Heart’ actor showed off a positive attitude while revealing regarding his health condition:
“Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I’m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery.”
Jeff, who already underwent treatment, thanked friends and fans for sending their prayers:
“I’m profoundly grateful for the love and support from my family and friends. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.”
Then, the 70-year-old actor, who is described as the most natural screen actor in the film industry, ended his message by reminding his followers to vote in the upcoming presidential election, writing:
