‘Jane the Virgin’ star Jenna Ortega is giving sights that she would become one of the most recognized stars of Hollywood in near future.
Highly praised film ‘The Fallout‘ which Ortega starred in earned the Grand Jury Prize for Best Film and The Brightcove Award for Best Director on the Rise. Once the news spread, the young actor jumped into her verified Instagram account and expressed her satisfaction with being a part of the film.
Ortega, who is also portraying ‘Katie Torres‘ in the Netflix film ‘Yes Day‘ uploaded the official release poster for the film directed by Megan Park and added the following message as a caption:
“The Fallout won the Grand Jury Prize for best film and our incredible director @meganparkithere won the Brightcove Award for best director on the rise!! So thrilled.“
Then the 18-year-old star, who played ‘Vada’ in the said film, showed her gratitude to the director with these words:
“Thank you a million times over to Megan for trusting me with Vada and this story and to everyone who was any help in getting this film made.”
In her message, Ortega did not forget to thank her friend, actor Francia Raísa, who best known for her role in ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager,’ for her support to get the role. In her words:
“Special thanks to @sxsw and @franciaraisa, my sweet friend who suggested me for the role and is the reason I got to be apart of this in the first place.”
Following the post, ‘Yes Day’ co-star Jennifer Garner took to the comments section and praised the 18-year-old actor as follows:
