Jensen Ackles Releases His First Look At ‘The Boys’ In ‘Soldier Boy’ Costume: “I Love This Suit”

Jensen Ackles made a huge wave among fans and his industry friends with a “first-look” Instagram post!

The actor, who made a name for himself after appearing in the fan-favorite fantasy series ‘Supernatural‘ as ‘Dean Winchester,’ took to fired up his social media accounts so as to release his first look at the superhero series ‘The Boys.’

As fans already know, in 2020, it was officially announced that Ackles joined the cast for the third season as ‘Soldier Boy.’ Even though the filming for the series created by Eric Kripke began a few weeks ago, the costume of the ‘Soldier Boy’ had not been revealed.

On June 7, Ackles became sociable and quenched all the curiosity regarding ‘Soldier Boy’s look; he released a two-photo gallery in which he is seen in a dark-green suit and with a shield that he uses as a weapon. Alongside the photos, he wrote:

“My idea of a camouflage banana hammock got overruled. And I’m glad it did. I love this suit.”

Apart from his costume Designed by Laura Jean and Greg Hopwood, of course, his shield captured the attention of the fans of the series; it absolutely reminded many people of Captain America.

In addition to the costume itself, the comments from well-known names cheered fans up. While his ‘Supernatural’ co-star Jared Padalecki stated he liked the costume so much, ‘The Walking Dead’ star Jeffrey Dean Morgan wrote as a comment:

“Oh sh*t! I’m not sure I could be happier! I fuc*ing love Soldier Boy!”

What’s more, the post received the following comments:

“Save that costume for your mission to Maui” wrote the official Instagram page for ‘The Boys.’

“Who nixed the banana hammock idea? I’d like a word” added the official Instagram account for Amazon Prime Video, where the series will be released.
