Jeremy Renner Updates Fans On His Return As Hawkeye

He says he’s getting stronger and ready for his role.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jeremy Renner expressed his willingness to return as Hawkeye in a future Avengers installment.

Renner expressed his enthusiasm about his possible return, hinting at his readiness to join Avengers once more:

“I’m always game. I’m gonna be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. All those guys come to my bedside and they’ve been with me all along through this recovery, so… if they want me, they could have me. It would be something.”

Despite the challenges he has faced following a severe snowplow accident over a year ago, it seems Renner now believes he’ll be healthy enough to return to the screens. Watch the interview below:

Renner Made Another Comeback With Super Bowl Ad

In addition to his MCU commitments, Renner has also made headlines with his upcoming appearance in a commercial set to air during the Super Bowl. Reflecting on his career path, Renner shared his excitement about participating in a Super Bowl advertisement in the same interview, saying:

“I never had an ad in the big game … I’ll be watching this one, and I’m so stoked because they’re sometimes the highlight of the Super Bowl. Some games aren’t always the greatest, but the ads are always the greatest. It’s nice to be part of that, thinking [I can] check that off the box of things I want to do in my life.”

Aftermath of Renner’s Accident

Renner’s path back to the big screen has not been without its hurdles.

Following a life-threatening accident in Nevada that left him with a broken leg, severe chest injuries, and blood loss, the actor has long been in a rigorous recovery process. The accident took place while he was trying to save his nephew from an out-of-control Pistenbully snowcat.

Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Renner’s determination has seen him through. Yet, he shared his concerns about returning to acting with People magazine, particularly concerning the upcoming season of ‘Mayor Of Kingstown.’

Describing the experience as ‘arduous,’ Renner admitted to feeling ‘a little bit scared’ about jumping back into the fast-paced filming schedule, especially after his break due to the injuries.

Production for Season 3 of ‘Mayor of Kingstown‘ gets underway, with no official release date announced yet. Besides, it’s rumored that Renner may even appear in the upcoming ‘Avengers 5’ movie.
