‘Modern Family‘ star Jesse Tyler Ferguson is about to drop a cookbook titled ‘Food Between Friends’ with his cooking spouse, recipe developer Julie Tanous.
Five-time Emmy Award winner Ferguson delivered the exciting news through his verified Instagram account. He posted the official cover of the upcoming book and spread the word by saying he was now a Covergirl.
The father of one, who recently welcomed his first child, added that he had been working on that book for the past few years by blending Tanous southern upbringing with his own southwestern roots. The actor, who wrote a cookbook for the first time, gave a hint about the content of the book:
“Full of recipes inspired by our childhood, stories about our friendship & how cooking brought us together. It’s been a true labor of love & I am so proud to share this with you.”
As for food writer, Tanous stated that the duo learned so much from each other in the process:
“Our friendship and chemistry in the kitchen were what started us on this journey, but as the months of hard work went on, we discovered that we’re also great writing partners.”
Ferguson and Tanous already had a joint Instagram account @foodbetweenfriends they were sharing various recipes for years.
‘Food Between Friends’ will be out on March 9, 2021. It is now available for preorder through www.julieandjessecook.com.
