Jessica Simpson has given a piece of good news to her fans and followers through an Instagram post, on December 9.
The singer & actor revealed that she associated with Amazon Studios to share her mid-20s story through a docuseries. Simpson posted a photo of herself enjoying the grass in front of Amazon’s flashing sign and added a lengthy caption to express her gratitude for both teaming up with the film studious plus bringing her story to life on the screen through a huge production.
In the caption section, the New York Times Bestselling author also revealed that she would executive produce the docuseries, which music will be the key component, and would share her “soul and perspective” with two essays within the series.
Simpson, stating that she is a huge fan of the shows live on Amazon, described the collaboration as “the brightest visible dream” for her. She added:
“From our first meeting, I had a visceral connection to every member of this team. I know that parts of my life have been extraordinary, but I also know that many of my struggles are universal.”
By referring to her memoir, ‘Open Book,’ which is one of the best audiobooks of 2020 according to Apple Books, she continued:
“I hope to continue the mission I set out to accomplish in writing Open Book — to inspire others to be entertained, moved, and empowered to walk through fear and come out on the other side even stronger.”
Simpson concluded her words by thanking her beloved ones and her “new family members at Amazon” for listening and supporting her on the way she is chasing her dreams.
