Juliette Lewis Celebrates Having “Survived Another Year Of Unimaginable Loss Hurt” By Releasing A Meaningful Message

Juliette Lewis, the well-known Hollywood actor marked a milestone in her life with a highly inspiring Instagram post.

On June 22, Lewis, best known for her roles in groundbreaking movies such as ‘Husbands and Wives,’ ‘Strange Days,’ ‘From Dusk Till Dawn,’ and ‘Natural Born Killers,’ jumped into her verified Instagram account and shared a photo of herself enjoying at the beach with a bunch of balloons in her hands. Via the photo and a lengthy accompanying message, Lewis celebrated her 48th birthday.

After showing her gratitude for the birthday love from her fans and friends, Lewis revealed that she wanted to skip her birthday this year and continued as follows by referring that 2021 is not easy to handle:

“I’ve always been a very empathetic person. But when do you treat your inside thought patterns, real or imagined shortcomings with more care?  More awereness of the evolution that ‘human thinking’ goes toward, and create new mental patterns new ways of function going forward? When do you offer understanding compassion to another who is acting out, but also say I should give more of that to myself?”

The Academy Award-nominated star continued her message by mentioning her mental improvement process by saying:

“Failures galore! A masterpiece of failings! What one should be… at this new age. Whelp I am here! And aware of being. Survived another year of unimaginable loss hurt… Alive in the curtains of uncertainty. Less friends but stronger friendships! Leaning into feeling empty! And not! But Hey creating has been super fun. Writing, acting, dreaming.”

The inspiring post received numerous positive comments from both her fans & followers and industry friends. Hollywood actors Carla Gugino, Kate Hudson, Octavia Spencer, and comedian Chelsea Handler were quick to respond to her with adorable birthday messages. See below to view the mentioned photo.
