Well-known actor and comedian Justin Long took to his Instagram to announce an unusual case; his grandmother turned 104!
Long, who recently appeared in ‘The Wave‘ as ‘Frank,’ shared four selfies with his Grandma Jody and marked the day with a highly funny caption. To highlight that 104 years are too long for a person, he started listing the things that happened & discovered before Granma Jody was born.
‘Jay and Silent Bob Reboot‘ actor first celebrated the birthday of his granny, who is of Italian descent, and then wrote:
“She was born before the Spanish Flu pandemic, before the electric refrigerator and the pop-up toaster were invented, before self-serving supermarkets, before the world’s first billionaire existed, before Nathan Handweker sold the first Nathan’s hotdog at Coney Island, before we entered World War ONE,”
Then Long referred to Instagram, selfies, and hashtags and continued his message as follows:
“(…)before Woodrow Wilson sent troops to pursue Pancho Villa into Mexico, before Fitzgerald wrote “The Great Gatsby” and James Joyce wrote “Ulysses”, before hearing aids and frozen food were invented, before daylight savings time went into effect and, as you can see, long long LONG before there was a “selfie”…. or hashtags or #fbf”
Following this hilarious post, Long’s industry friends were not late to left comments. Famous actor Gina Gershon, best known for her comedic roles, wrote as a comment:
“Omg! She looks amazing! Wow. Happy Birthday! You come from good stock. And yet…”
As for Long replied to her by saying:
“Longevity genes don’t equal fart or booger-free genes!”
Like Gershon, a great number of followers and fans wrote that his granny looks about 80, and they celebrated the day with birthday emojis.
