Hollywood star Katherine Heigl celebrated her brand new TV series, ‘Firefly Lane‘ with an intimate home party held by her friends, and shared those moments with an Instagram post she had released on February 6.
Heigl, who is gearing up to appear as ‘Michelle Burroughs,’ in the psychological thriller film ‘Fear of Rain‘ after a 4 year of cinema break, shared a five-photo gallery through her verified Instagram account. Alongside the photos, in which she is seen with her three best friends, Heigl wrote that they enjoyed “the most incredible ‘Firefly Lane’ at home premiere party.”
In her message the Hollywood actor also showed her gratitude to her friend Lexy Snow for planning and executing the party from her recovery bed post brain surgery. She continued praising her friend with the following words:
“Yeah…post brain surgery. Alexis is just that kind of special. She has been for as long as I’ve known her and I’ve known her a very very long time! She was the girl who came to sit with me in the cafeteria during the lonely days of 8th grade when the other girls all ostracized me.”
The actor, portraying ‘Tully Hart‘ in the series created by Maggie Friedman for Netflix, thanked the girl who was on her side and eased her nerves with laughter and love at every turn. Then she quoted from her character:
“Like Tully says “She was even kind at 14? And no one is kind at 14” Thank you sexy Lexy! What an incredible gift you gave me to kick off this show I am so passionate about and proud of! Thank you to my girls, the sacred six, for your unwavering love and support.”
After thanking her other friends who attended the home party, informed her fans & followers that the party was completed with the rapid covid tests.
Through this post full of friend love, Heigl referred in a way to the series’ main story; as known, ‘Firefly Lane,’ based on the novel of the same name by Kristin Hanna, is centered on an unbreakable bond between friends of years.
