Kathryn Hahn Has One Condition For Agatha Harkness Appearing In An ‘Avengers’ Crossover

The actress didn’t rule out a possible appearance in new ‘Avengers’ films.

Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness in her own series, ‘Agatha All Along,’ in September. She is open to bringing her character back also in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ but has one condition.

“I think I’d only be asked if it was necessary and juicy,” the actress recently told Rolling Stone. “So, who knows? The craziest, most perfect, side-door entrance to this world is to be a witch. It feels wicked step-sister-y. And I really like it like that.”

Hahn debuted as Agatha in 2021’s ‘Wandavision,’ where her character was eventually trapped in a Hex following a fight with Wanda Maximoff. Marvel co-president Louis D’Esposito reached out to her about a solo show soon after while filming ‘Glass Onion’ in Serbia.

“I got a call from Louis D’Esposito saying, ‘How’d you like your own Marvel show?’ — a call you never get. My heart was pounding. I could barely understand what he was saying,” the actress recalled.

“I knew what it meant, but I just kept finding ways to minimize it for myself until the first day of shooting. Someone had put a sign on the window of my trailer that said, ‘welcome to your first day on your very own Marvel show’ and I burst into tears. It was very, just very exciting, especially with a character that you just love and just want to explore every nook and cranny.”

‘Agatha All Along’ will follow Agatha’s attempt to regain her powers and form a new witch coven following the events of ‘Wandavision.’ Rumors suggest that the series will lead into Wanda Maximoff’s return to the MCU.
