The reality TV show star Kelly Dodd, took to her verified social media accounts on June 16 so as to announce her exit from ‘The Real Housewives Of Orange County‘ which brought fame to her.
Dodd, who recently announced that she and her husband Rick Leventhal had contracted Lyme disease, both on Instagram and Twitter thanked her fans and followers for their support throughout her starring in the show.
The media personality, who heralded her return to ‘The Real Housewives Of Orange County’ season 16 back in February, revealed the plans had changed. To deliver the news, Dodd wrote:
“The last five years have been an amazing experience. The next five years will be even better. I am so grateful for all the love and support and so excited about the future. RHOC.”
The news did not surprise fans of the show; recently, Dodd became the subject of news due to her controversial moves. As fans might remember, the reality star described the deadly COVID-19 pandemic as “God’s way of thinning the herd” and sparked outrage on social media. What’s more, during the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest, she appeared in the series while wearing a hat with the slogan ‘Drunk Wives Matter.’
Alongside Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas also will not be returning for season 16.
