Hollywood actor Kerry Washington updated her Instagram feed with a fake maternity shoot to promote the mini TV series, ‘Little Fires Everywhere.’
The ‘Scandal‘ star posted a black and white photo that sees her lying in the bathtub with her bare baby bump, that is from a scene of the series, and added a hilarious caption to declare that drama streaming television miniseries is now available on Hulu.
The actor, who is portraying ‘Mia Warren‘ in the series, wrote:
“If you thought this was a pregnancy announcement…download @hulu & watch Little Fires Everywhere 😂🔥😂”
Washington, who was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her portrayal on the said series, concluded her caption with an inspiring message:
“Or do whatever it is YOU need to do to practice self-care this weekend! Take a bath! (Its #NationalBubbleBathDay!🛀🏾), meditate, journal, sleep. But most importantly…treat yourself and treat each other with love & kindness. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Following the post, Washington’s co-star Reese Witherspoon, who portrays the lead role in the miniseries as ‘Elena Richardson,’ jumped into the comment section and sent a message that says “MAMMA MIA.”
As known, ‘Little Fires Everywhere,’ directed by Liz Tigelaar and based on Celeste Ng‘s novel of the same name, premiered on Hulu on March 18. The series, starring also Joshua Jackson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Lexi Underwood, and Megan Stott, garnered high praises from both critics and viewers.
So much so that, the series became the most-watched drama ever on Hulu, according to the news delivered by the streaming service.
