Kerry Washington, portraying ‘Mia Warren,’ in the fan-favorite series ‘Little Fires Everywhere,‘ updated her Instagram feed with a post full of praises for her actor fellows, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Michaela Coel and Cate Blanchett, who received Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations as well as her.
After celebrating getting NAACP Image Awards and WGA Awards nominations for her performance in the said series, this time the actor took to her Instagram to express her satisfaction with being in the same category with the abovementioned names.
As known, Blanchett (for ‘Mrs. America), Coel (for ‘I May Destroy You‘), Kidman (for ‘The Undoing‘), and Taylor-Joy (‘The Queen’s Gambit‘) received Best TV Movie/Limited Series Actress nominations. Regarding that, Washington wrote on Instagram:
“😱😱😱😱😱😱 These were some of the most BRILLIANT performances I have seen on a television screen…EVER.”
Then the ‘Scandal’ star described being featured in the same category as them as an honor, and did not skip to thank her ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ cast & crew by saying:
“I am so deeply grateful to the @sagawards for this nomination, and my pride continues for this phenomenal @littlefireshulu cast and crew that put everything they had into this show. Love you all!!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️”
It seems that Washington will get more nominations and be featured in the same category with the same name this year multiple times for her brilliant performance in the series which she also executive produced.
