Kerry Washington Releases A Birthday Tribute To Eddie Murphy While Asks For A Role In Upcoming ‘Coming To America’ Franchise

Five-time NAACP Image Award-winning actor Kerry Washington is going on using her social media platforms to mark her industry friends’ birthdays.

On April 3, the actor, who has been garnering high praises both from audiences and critics for her performance in the fan-favorite series ‘Little Fires Everywhere‘ took to her verified Twitter account to celebrate the birthday of one of the most recognized comedians, Eddie Murphy.

In order to mark the Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor’s 60th birthday, Washington uploaded a photo of two from the 2012 dated comedy-drama film ‘A Thousand Words.’ As known, in the film, directed by Brian Robbins the actors portrayed a husband and wife – ‘Jack McCall‘ and ‘Caroline McCall‘ -.

Along with the photo, to which the actor added crowns on their heads via photoshop, the ‘Scandal’ star first wished the comedian a happy birthday. Then Washington asked Murphy in a hilarious way for a role in the upcoming ‘Coming to America’ film. In her own words:

“This is me trying to convince you to please start work on Coming to America 3…(@shariheadley what do you think?! Maybe I could play your long lost lil sister!?!?)”

Following this intimate and humorous birthday tribute, the eighth highest-paid television personality, Washington concluded her words as follows:

Sending you lots of birthday love, Eddie!! 🤴🏾🎈”
