Well-known filmmaker and comic books diehard Kevin Smith took to his verified Instagram account the other day to announce a piece of great news: Smith, best known for the legendary comedy film ‘Clerks,’ heralded that the brand new documentary which centers on his own personal life, career, and artistry is about to premiere.
On Instagram, Smith wrote that he is honored to announce that ‘Clerk‘ has its World Premiere at SXSW in March. Regarding the documentary which named after ‘Clerks,’ he continued:
“We were supposed to be debuting the flick in 2020 until Covid happened. But since the Fest is online for 2021, that means you’ll be able to watch from your couch at home!“
Stating that the documentary directed by documentarian Malcolm Ingram, who previously made ‘Small Town Gay Bar‘ and ‘The Phantom Of Winnipeg,’ offers a funny and emotional time-traveling trip through five decades with his favorite talkers.
In his message, Smith heralded that Stan Lee also featured the documentary, and concluded his message as follows:
“It’s a humbling thing, seeing the story of your life play out before your eyes. Thank you for following my stuff for 27 years now: because without you, there is really no story to tell.”
