Kevin Smith, the well-known filmmaker, delivered good news through his verified Instagram account, on June 14.
Smith, best known for writing and directing the cult film ‘Clerks,’ told the world that documentary on his career and life, ‘Clerk‘ is set to meet audiences within The Clerk Tour in November. As loyal fans might know, actually, the documentary about the filmmaker’s life’s journey “from Highlands to Hollywood” had its premiere in the SXSW Film Festival’s Spotlight section back on March 17.
Smith announced the great news for both his and ‘Clerks’ fans with the following words, through Instagram:
“Some see the documentary about a man who wears many hats… All of them backwards. Join us for screenings of Clerk – the new film from director Malcolm Ingram, in the following cities… Austin, Asbury Park, ST. Louis, Chicago and Vancouver.”
In his message, the 50-year-old stated that the documentary is coming to Toronto soon. What’s more, Smith heralded that he will be there with the audience for Question & Answers before the film. He concluded as follows:
“Remember when we’d all gather together in public places! Here’s your chance to relive the heady days of 2019, when we all took for granted the times we used to spend together alone in the dark, surrounded by similarly cinemaniacs!”
The highly-expected documentary also will focus on Smith’s successful works including ‘Clerks,’ ‘Clerks II,’ ‘Chasing Amy,’ Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.’
