Lady Gaga is set to make an appearance in ‘Wednesday’ Season 2, Variety has confirmed.
While Gaga’s role is being kept under wraps, sources say it will be a small part of the second season of the Netflix series, currently filming in Ireland. The production team reportedly tried to secure a larger role for Gaga in Season 2 but without success.
Gaga was last seen with Joaquin Phoenix in the movie ‘Joker: Folie à Deux.’ She was previously nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in ‘A Star Is Born’ with Bradley Cooper.
‘Wednesday’ star Jenna Ortega had previously told Variety that “I’m sure Netflix would love” Gaga to appear in the new season of the series after a dance scene featured in ‘Wednesday’ Episode 4 went viral on TikTok when it was remixed to Gaga’s song Bloody Mary.
In Season 2, Ortega reprises her role as Wednesday Addams, the beloved character from ‘The Addams Family.’
‘Wednesday’ first premiered in November 2022, quickly becoming Netflix’s most-watched English-language series and earning 12 Emmy nominations.
