Leonardo DiCaprio Urges Fans To Vote For Justice & Freedom

One of the highest-paid actors in the world, Leonardo DiCaprio, took to Instagram and shared another type post this time, apart from the nature focus-on. The recipient of Academy Award, a BAFTA, and a Golden Globe Award, DiCaprio posted a white image that reads “Vote.” on Instagram, and called his followers and fans to take an action for protecting democracy in the US.

DiCaprio, known as an ambitious environmentalist, wrote alongside the said image:

“One of the most important things you can do to have your voice heard, get the leadership we demand, and the justice we need, is to vote.”

As might remember, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ actor contributed to Barack Obama‘s presidential campaign in both 2008 and 2012 and also endorsed Hilary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election against Donald Trump. DiCaprio added:

Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy and the fundamental right upon which all our civil liberties rest.”

The commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres concluded his message by leading people to register to vote:

“Organizations like @aclu_nationwide work to protect and expand Americansʼ freedom to vote. Register to vote now. For help at the polls, call the non-partisan Election Protection Hotline at 1-866-OUR-VOTE”
