Lewis Pullman can’t remember what happens to his character Bob in ‘Thunderbolts*’ because it was a long time ago.
“I was as surprised as everyone else to see what is happening with [my character] Bob, and it’s all a mystery,” the actor told People. “It happened so long ago, I don’t really remember exactly.”
He added, “I’m not in the editing room, so it will be what it will be, and I can’t wait to see it.” Pullman is rumored to be playing Robert Reynolds, also known as the superhero Sentry, in the movie.
The actor is in the new Marvel movie with stars like Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kame, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
At Comic-Con in July, after a Marvel panel, Lewis shared details about his role with Entertainment Weekly, saying, “All I’ll say is that everyone has their own nicknames and Bob is not his only name. As Lewis is not my only name.”
Last month, a teaser trailer was released, along with a poster showing a character’s hand, which got fans talking. In a chat with Collider, Pullman addressed the theory that his character might have six fingers in the poster.
He explained the situation, “I’ve heard about the six-finger thing. But if you look closely, there’s actually no mistakes going on. I actually spent some time because I was like, ‘Did they give me a sixth finger?’ But they didn’t. It’s just cropped at the right point where it looks like there’s an extra tip happening or something. But that’s about it. I love that.”
Florence Pugh and David Harbour are back as Yelena and Red Guardian in ‘Thunderbolts*,’ while Sebastian Stan returns as Bucky. The cast also includes Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina. The film will be in theaters on May 2, 2025.
