Lindsey Lohan Recalls Mocking Disney CEO Over ‘The Parent Trap’ Role

Lohan was just 12 years old when she took on the dual roles of twin sisters Hal and Ann James Parker in the 1998 film.

Lindsay Lohan recently revealed a playful chat she had with the then-CEO of Disney during the world premiere of ‘The Parent Trap.’ The actress appeared on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ where she talked about this incident while promoting her upcoming Netflix holiday movie ‘Our Little Secret.’

CEO Michael Eisner approached Lohan at the premiere asking where her twin was. It’s unclear if he was joking or truly unaware that the actress played both characters, but the question prompted a clever remark from her.

“I was so young, I don’t even know how I thought to say this, but I’ll never forget what I said,” Lohan recalled. “I said, ‘Well you should’ve paid me double, because I don’t have one.’”

The 38-year-old actress had her breakthrough with ‘The Parent Trap,’ starring opposite Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, Elaine Hendrix, and Lisa Ann Walter. Now, she’s willing to reprise the role if Nancy Meyers returns as director.

There are no plans for a ‘Parent Trap’ sequel at this point, but Lohan is reconnecting with Disney by joining Jamie Lee Curtis for the upcoming ‘Freaky Friday’ follow-up, ‘Freakier Friday.’ The film completed production over the summer and is set for release on August 8, 2025.
