Liv Tyler Celebrates Reuniting With Her Children After Two Week COVID-19 Treatment

Well-known actor Liv Tyler, who famously played ‘Arwen Undómiel‘ in the ‘Lord of the Rings‘ film trilogy, updated her Instagram feed with an adorable family photo to announce that she is celebrating recovering from the coronavirus disease and seeing her children after two tough weeks.

Alongside the said photo, in which Tyler is seen wearing a medical mask while enjoying with her two children on her bed, the actor wrote:

Reunited with my loves … what a wild 2 weeks 🙈🦠🧤😷”

Stating that sharing COVID-19 experiences are important to gather facts and raise awareness regarding the contagious disease, Tyler revealed that she had tested for COVID-19 on New Year’s Eve day, even though she had taken all the precautions by following the rules to keep herself and her family safe. According to what she said in her message, she was the only one who had tested positive for the virus in her family. She continued her message by telling of the symptoms she had experienced:

“There are so many strange elements to this sickness. It effects everyone so completely differently. I was so lucky and had corona light🍺 But It floored me for 10 days in my bed. There is the physical aspects but also emotional and psychological ones too.”

Adding that being isolated in a room alone for more than a week was quite tough, the actor stated that the first days of the new year “have been scary for everyone in the world.” However, the hardest part of having the disease for her was keeping away from her children:

I missed My babies beyond but they visited my window and called up to me and I watch them play outside. Such a gift. They sent little messages and drawings under my door. Reminders of what’s on the other side. What to get better for.”

The mother of three concluded her words by saying that she is now grateful for recovering and being able to spend time with her family, and showed her gratitude for those who “are working tirelessly to protect and care for others.”
