Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino share what they kept from the ‘Loki’ set.
Hiddleston and Di Martino got together earlier this month for a special Emmys event. As seen in an IG video shared by Marvel, they revealed the items they couldn’t leave behind. Hiddleston said he often forgets to take things from the set, but this time he managed to snag one:
“I don’t know, I always forget to take things from set. I think I got a TVA Guidebook.”
Sophia Di Martino went a bit too far with her collection. She revealed:
“I took so much stuff. I have a machete, a time stick, some TVA Posters, and some props I probably shouldn’t have taken from O.B.’s office. Going to get myself in trouble!”
Hiddleston’s Thoughts On Playing Loki
Hiddleston previously said that the Loki role changed his life. He said he sees Loki not as a villain but as a character with a lot of emotional baggage:
“I’ve absolutely loved playing Loki; it’s been 15 years, and it is the most magnificent and emotional roller coaster for the twists and turns. He has so much range and so much complexity, it never feels like [I’m playing] the same thing. Playing Loki has changed the course of my whole life, no question. I always saw him from the very first film as a broken soul with a shattered heart who felt like he didn’t belong … all that grief hardens into grievance.”
Hiddleston also talked about bringing Loki’s story full circle in Season 2. You can read the details here.
