Lucasfilm Drops A New Trailer For ‘The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special’

A brand-new trailer for the long-awaited ‘The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special‘ arrived.

In the trailer for the upcoming LEGO film, which will debut on Disney+ on November 17, 2020, ‘ Jedi Rey‘ discovers a key to the galaxy’s past and then teams up with legendary characters ‘Luke Skywalker,’ ‘Yoda,’ and ‘Han Solo‘ to battle Darth Vader for the said key that provides travel across time and space. While the battle is going on,  Sheev Palpatine wants to grab the key to change the future. What’s more, the teaser uses Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker Suite.’

The highly expected LEGO  film, produced by Atomic Cartoons, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm Ltd., sets after the events of ‘Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker‘ and takes place in 35 ABY.

The vice president, franchise content, and strategy at Lucasfilm, James Waugh stated that the film, which is more than a holiday special, will embrace the fans with its ironic and fun features. He continued:

“It is more honoring the elements of that holiday special that have lingered with the franchise.”

In addition to the trailer, Lucasfilm and The Walt Disney Company released the official poster for the film, designed with festive Life Daylights.
