Macaulay Culkin will be joining the cast of ‘Fallout’ Season 2 in a recurring role, according to Variety. Details about his character have not been revealed, but Deadline reports that he will play a ‘crazy-genius-type.’
Recently, Culkin has appeared in several projects, lending his voice to ‘The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy’ and starring in multiple episodes of ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ as well as ‘American Horror Story: Double Feature.’
Having premiered on Prime Video in April 2024, ‘Fallout’ follows the lives of people who wake up from luxury fallout shelters into a world left in ruins by their ancestors. The series stars Ella Purnell, alongside Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and Walton Goggins.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as showrunners while Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy contribute as executive producers through their company Kilter Films, in partnership with Amazon.
Kilter Films’ Athena Wickham, Todd Howard from Bethesda Game Studios, and James Altman from Bethesda Softworks also serve as executive producers.
‘Fallout’ is an Emmy-winner for outstanding music supervision with Trygge Toven’s work in ‘The End.’ It was nominated for 17 categories at the awards ceremony, including outstanding drama series and outstanding writing.
The show was quite liked by the audience and the critics, attracting 65 million viewers within the first 16 days. It was soon renewed for a second season.
