American actress and musician Zosia Mamet announced that she and her team sent out 275 goodie bags, which are full of some of the self-care products and little giveaways, by hitting the streets.
In order to give the news and encourage others to help medical professionals, the ‘Girls’ actress posted certain photos, that she was wearing a mask while posing in front of the bags.
As a caption, the daughter of screenwriter, and film director David Mamet, wrote:
“We polled the nurses to find out exactly what they needed & wanted and tried to fill every request from hair ties to hand lotion. I know this is only a small thing but I wanted to do something to express my immense gratitude for these humans.”
The 32-year-old ‘Mad Men’ actress spoke of painful days the world in and added:
“Not only have they been fighting this horrific pandemic up close and personal, but they also chose to give their lives to a profession in service to others. We are living in incredibly scary, tumultuous and trying times. And we are having to navigate this period mostly isolated from one another.”
Then she encouraged people to behave positively to each other:
“But even though we are apart, in my opinion, nothing is more powerfully bonding or healing than kindness. And no act of kindness is ever too small. Say thank you, smile behind your mask, be kind to one another.”
One and for all, the actress thanked all the brands that donated, and people who helped her.
