Hollywood actor Mark Hamill, best remembered for his portrayal of ‘Luke Skywalker‘ in the fan-favorite ‘Star Wars‘ film series, goes on recalling the good & old days with never-before-seen shots.
On March 3, the ‘Regular Show‘ star took to his verified Instagram account and posted a TBT shot seeing Gary Kurtz, George Lucas, andAlec Guinness alongside him, and showed off his fans & followers how they celebrated Guinness’ 62nd birthday on the set of ‘Star Wars’ in Tunisia.
As known, Tunisia was the set for the first six movies of the series; Chott el Jerid, Hôtel Sidi Driss, Ksar Hadada, Ksar Medenine, and Ksar Ouled Soltane were used as locations. Alongside the photo which was captured almost 45 years ago on one of these locations, Hamill wrote:
“While shooting on location for the original #StarWars in Tunisia-North Africa, Gary Kurtz, George Lucas & I raised a styrofoam cup half-filled with warm champagne to toast Alec Guinness on his 62nd birthday.”
Then the legendary movie star confessed that he needed to check it through Google Search to find out the exact date the photo was taken:
“That was on Friday, April 2nd 1976. (I Googled it) 🎂🍾”
