The throwback snap enlightened the day of Star Wars fans and they went down memory lane from the old days of the legendary series.

Mark Hamill, 69, took Instagram to share a throwback photo from the set of Star Wars in which he held hands with Harrison Ford. It was a black and white photo taken during the shootings of 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

In the caption of the nostalgic photo, Hamill revealed the reason behind why they held hands with the following words:

“It was Harrison’s idea to hold hands so our movements would be consistent & Carrie’s eye line would match up.” He later assured that they normally didn’t hold hands, “Other than this moment, we hardly ever held hands. 👬 #TrueStory”

This photo, which the actor shared from his first Star Wars movie, was a shot from the moment Luke Skywalker and Han Solo received an award from Princess Leia, and they became two world-known actors after this movie.
