Marlon Wayans Pays Homage To Kevin Nascimento: “Please Kiss My Mum Up Here, She Will Hold You”

Well-known actor Marlon Wayans expressed disbelief in the death of Brazilian funk singer Kevin Nascimento, through his verified Instagram account.

The actor, best known for his starring in various comedy films including ‘Norbit,’ ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,’ ‘The Heat,’ ‘A Haunted House,’ and ‘Scary Movie’ film series, went to his verified Instagram page with a photo of himself with the late singer, who passed away May 16, after falling from his fifth-floor hotel room.

As a friend of the 23-year-old late star, Wayans released a lengthy message in order to express that he can’t believe that Nascimento, also known as MC Kevin, had gone. Alongside the photo, in which the two is seen standing alongside, the actor wrote:

“My little brother. @mckevin my heart hurts. Such a sweet pure soul. You were like a mischievous little boy with a golden heart. You loved your people, you loved your friends, you loved Brazil, you loved the favelas, you loved life. I’m sad bro. You had so much more to do.”

The 48-year-old continued his heart-touching tribute with the following the words:

“Who will I party with now when I come to Brazil. I love you brother. Please kiss my mom up there. And she will hold you. You’re in good hands my bro. To all his Brazilian fans just know he loved your the most. I hurt with you.”

As fans of the singer may know, on May 17, it was declared that the accident happened at a beachside neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, in his hometown. Even though he was rushed to the hospital minutes later the accident, he passed away at Miguel Couto Hospital.
