Marvel Accused Of AI Use On ‘Thunderbolts*’ Poster

A possible error shows one character with an extra finger.

Marvel fans saw something strange in the new ‘Thunderbolts*’ poster.

The trailer for the upcoming movie dropped on Monday. Some fans quickly shifted their attention to Lewis Pullman’s character ‘Bob.’ ‘Bob’ appeared to have six fingers in the poster,  and this led fans to believe the image may have been created using artificial intelligence.

Fans on social media, especially on Twitter and Reddit, quickly pointed out the issue. Some thought it was a mistake caused by AI, others suspected it was simply a Photoshop error. People began to think the sixth finger might just be the fifth one clipped by a bad layout after taking a closer look.

Fans also noticed other strange details in the poster, like the characters’ arms crossing in odd ways.

Many believe that the strange arm positions, especially for US Agent, Red Guardian, and Ghost, were signs that someone may messed up while putting the poster together. Some fans even joked that maybe whoever worked on it forgot to label the layers in the editing process.

This led to even more speculation about ‘Bob.’ Some fans think he could be a big part of the movie’s plot as he’s shown in a mysterious area that looks like Avengers Tower. There’s a lot of curiosity about why Yelena Belova and the other Thunderbolts* would be in such an important location.

As for Lewis Pullman, who plays ‘Bob,’ he didn’t give any answers about his character. Fans believe he might be playing a version of The Sentry, but Pullman stayed quiet about it. Steven Yeun was expected to play a mystery character in ‘Thunderbolts*,’ but Pullman took on the role after some scheduling conflicts.
