Krysten Ritter, known for playing ‘Jessica Jones’ in Marvel’s Netflix universe, has expressed her eagerness to return to the role. During an interview about ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ with ComicBook, Ritter learned that Marvel TV executive Brad Winderbaum has singled out ‘Jessica Jones’ as the Netflix Marvel character he most wants to see join the MCU.

“Brad Winderbaum said that? That’s really exciting to hear. Isn’t that the guy who makes the call?” Ritter exclaimed. “Come on, Brad! Let’s get it going. Let’s do it. I’ll be ready.”

While Winderbaum did not provide a definitive answer about ‘Jessica Jones’ MCU future, he made it clear that she remains a priority in his mind.

“I love ‘Jessica Jones.’ I think it’s one of the highlights of the Netflix era for me,” Winderbaum told us. “She certainly embodies the character better than anybody. And man, wouldn’t it be awesome to bring her back and see her on screen again?”

Winderbaum’s admiration for ‘Jessica Jones’ is well-documented. Speaking at the D23 fan expo in Brazil, he was asked which Netflix character he most wanted to see in the MCU. Without hesitation, he replied, “Oh wow. I mean ‘Jessica Jones.’”

Currently, there has been no official announcement about the future of ‘Jessica Jones,’ ‘Iron Fist,’ ‘Luke Cage,’ or other characters from Netflix’s ‘Defenders’ shows.
