Another announcement was made regarding ‘Thor: Love And Thunder,’ which will be theatrically released on May 6, 2022. Through the official Instagram page, it was stated that Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale, who has also appeared as ‘Batman’ in Christopher Nolan’s series, would join the cast of the highly-expected movie as the villain ‘Gorr the God Butcher.’

Studios also revealed that the third film for the series, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘ would be directed by Peyton Reed, who already directed the two first films. The rest of the announcement as follows:

All of these movies have been expected by fans for a while, however, the film and television studio surprised all the fans by announcing that ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special‘ is coming to DisneyPlus in 2022.

Following the news spread, the director of ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy’ series James Gunn took to his verified Instagram account and said that seeing the news makes him laugh. He continued:

“One of my favorite stories ever, which I have bugged Kevin Feige endlessly about over the years. I can’t believe we’re actually doing this. And, yes, I unironically loved the Star Wars Holiday Special as a kid.”
