Marvel Studios Reveal Their Next Sequel Series

These shows will link up with the Marvel movies and TV shows you already know.

Marvel Studios already announced four new Disney+ series to continue the stories of some of our favorite superheroes. Now, there is a fifth to join them.

The first series, ‘X-Men ’97,’ is already available. This show picks up where ‘X-Men: The Animated Series’ left off in 1997 to continue X-Men’s adventures after the supposed death of Professor Charles Xavier. It follows the old series, but you don’t need to watch the original to understand what’s happening. ‘X-Men ’97’ will have more seasons in the future.

Below are the rest of the planned series.

‘Agatha All Along’ and ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

Agatha All Along‘ will be released on September 18, 2024. This series continues the story from ‘WandaVision’ and focuses on Agatha Harkness. It takes place after the events of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ Agatha is free from her magical prison after Wanda Maximoff’s death. The cast includes Kathryn Hahn as Agatha, Joe Locke as Billy (Wiccan), and other stars from ‘WandaVision.’ The first two episodes will be available on the release date, and new episodes will come out every week.

Daredevil: Born Again‘ is set to come out in 2025. It was originally going to be a reboot but is now a sequel to the Netflix ‘Daredevil’ series. It follows Daredevil and Kingpin years after the Netflix show ended in 2018. The series will take place around 2025/26 in the current MCU timeline. The cast includes Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, and other actors from the original show. The new series will have nine episodes.

‘Ironheart’ and ‘Vision’

Ironheart‘ will also be released in 2025. This series is a sequel to ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and follows Riri Williams, a young genius inspired by Iron Man. The story explores the conflict between technology and magic. The cast includes Dominique Thorne as Riri, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, and possibly Sascha Baron Cohen as Mephisto. The series will have six episodes.

As for the latest announced one, ‘Vision’ is set to come out in 2026. This show continues the story from ‘WandaVision’ and follows Vision, played by Paul Bettany. After Vision’s death in ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ a new version of him was created by S.W.O.R.D., known as White Vision. This series will likely focus on White Vision’s journey to regain his memory and humanity. There are rumors that Vision’s synthezoid family may be introduced, but this wasn’t confirmed. ‘Star Trek: Picard’s Terry Matalas will be the showrunner.
