Notable members of the show industry go on raising their voices against the things that had happened on January 6, in Washington.
Masika Kalysha, the ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ star reacted to the supporters of Donald Trump, who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, after Biden’s win in Georgia. Through her verified Instagram account, Kalysha first released a screenshot of her one of tweets that says:
“White people get away with treason. Black people can’t get away with breathing. This is America.”
Then she jumped into the caption section and explain the meaning of the word, “treason” which refers to the highest of all crimes and is defined as “intentionally betraying one’s allegiance by levying war against the government or giving aid or comfort to its enemies.”
The TV personality implied that the Capitol rioters had committed treason by invading the heart of the United States of America, by saying:
” It’s THE MOST SERIOUS OFFENSE one can comment against the government and punishable by IMPRISONMENT and DEATH!”
As many other celebs did, Kalysha also criticized the government’s actions towards the invaders, by recalling the ‘Black Lives Matter‘ protests, where the police reacted to the protesters hard.
“Meanwhile @porsha4real @yandysmith and millions of #blm PEACEFUL protesters get arrested for sitting on lawns but the Karen’s can piss on the walls of the capitol building, barge inside and terrorize Congress and make it home in time for dinner!”
At the end of the caption, the ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta’ star asked her fans and followers to close their eyes for a second and imagine that a group of ‘Black Lives Matter’ protesters peacefully walking up to the capitol building.
Here is the post.
