Melissa Fumero, who is portraying police officer ‘Amy Santiago‘ in NBC’s comedy television series, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ took to Instagram the other to honor actor Joe Lo Truglio, playing ‘Charles Boyle‘ in the same show, on his 50th birthday. In addition to marking the day, Fumero made a confession regarding her cast-mate.
The actor posted a photo of Beth Dover with Truglio, which sees them having dinner, and added a hilarious caption. After wishing him a happy 50th birthday, she recalled his casting announcement for the series and wrote playing alongside him made her nervous at the first stage:
“I’ll never forget seeing your casting announcement for #Brooklyn99 and getting insanely excited and nervous to work with you. I’m so very grateful for your friendship.”
Then the actor clarified the photo and told of a hilarious moment she shared with Truglio:
“I can’t wait to celebrate with you and Beth again at a fancy restaurant where you’ll spill something and get a shame napkin.”
She concluded her words by saying that she really missed Truglio. In return, the 50-year-old actor jumped into the comment section and thanked her with an adorable message. He described Fumero as the best and pro, and showed his gratitude for her words plus friendship. In the same hilarious tone as Fumero’s, he wrote:
“And yes, whenever the four of us finally grab some haute cuisine, I’ll bring a bib 👍🏼Shame napkin😂😂”
