Michelle Monaghan, currently portraying ‘Eva Geller‘ on Netflix’s ‘Messiah‘ expressed how much she grateful for being a part of ‘Blood‘ movie, directed by Brad Anderson, due to its careful and sensitive crew, who make the set “coronavirus-free.”
To express her feelings, and to share the good vibes with her 1,5 million followers, Monaghan took to Instagram; she posted a series of photos that she appears smiling in each of them with a victory expression. Then the ‘True Detective‘ star added a caption that reads:
“These are the many faces of a girl who just wrapped a Covid-free movie. The feelings are real folks. 💓”
Monaghan said that as actors and set workers they did not hold value and heroism in the same way our healthcare and emergency workers did. However, the crew she had the privilege of working with, were essential to her. The statement continued:
“And I, was essential to them. I’m completely inspired by the ingenuity and compassion that a collective effort illicits. I’m so proud of this film and everyone in it, around it, who masked up, double-masked, doubled-down in a bubble, tested and tried with all their might not to hug and high five (me 🙋🏻♀️). Winnipeg, the best of the best, you know who you are, thank you. 🥰”
The actor added that she had not seen her family members for nine weeks as a part of Covid-19 precautions:
“And now, I’m headed home to tackle my hero of a family whom I haven’t seen in nine weeks and then, I’m gonna check that ballot like a MOTHER!💥 #wearamask #collectiveeffort #vote #youareessential ❤️@bloodthemovie“
As might fans remember, DEADLINE announced that Monaghan would play the lead role, ‘Jess’ in the psychological thriller ‘Blood,’ penned by Will Honley.
